Shifting Focus Towards Appreciation

 Everyone has undergone a day that was going all crazy. Maybe the alarm didn’t go off, or the children were tough to get organized in the morning. Then the car had a flat on the road that caused you to be late for a meeting, or a person rushing by pushed your arm and your drink spilt on favourite clothes. Despite what bad thing or a combination of things that happened that day, there were still some shining minutes. A warm smile from a co-worker, your children telling you how much they love you or even a stranger stopping to help you with that flat tire.  Discovering ways to highlight those seemingly sudden positive minutes in life and saying thanks and showing our appreciation can turn a bad day into a great day just by a shift in attitude.
